This is a Beauty!! It is in nice working condition. It has the original gold trim work around the edge of the machine, on the top and on the top of the wheel. The bulb is in working condition. It is very clean and nice. Made Feb. 4, 1954. Model 99K. There is a pedal that is also in working condition. The gold detail throughout this piece is all perfect. It is written in gold on the front bottom of the machine, Made in Great Britain. It says singer on the top and The singer manufacturing company. It is marked 99K on the front, which is the model number. The serial number is listed in the title and this is how it was dated. The case is in good condition with two latches on the front and a top handle. The case is a burgundy and beige color. All great with a bit of wear on the top handle. It is a very nice piece. The cord to the machine is working but brittle. It probably should be replaced. The cord to the bakelite foot pedal is in great condition. It is a very neat piece. Purchased from an auction about 30 years ago and I have only displayed it. It has never been used. It is still works just fine and the belt is in good condition.
