Description

From my personal collection, these bottles have been on my laundry room shelf for the past 20 years. They are various cleaning products. Some of the older ones are from the 1920 and up until about the 1940’s or 50’s. The first is TAXI (Holland) Liquid stain detergent. Holland specialty Company, Peoria, Illinois. There is about 1/3 of the bottle left. The next is Allercreme Detergent Oil. Texas Pharmacal Company, San Antonio, Texas. Full bottle. A ribbed brown glass bottle of Pinotol, Pine Oild Disinfectand and household Deodrant. McKesson Laboratories Bridgeport, Conn. USA. Full Bottle. Mrs. Stewarts Glass Bottle of Liquid Bluing for your whitest and brightest wash. 3/4 full. Old English Glass ribbed brown bottle, Furniture and Scratch Cover Polish. Empty. An early pump bottle 1920’s Window and glass cleaner. The sprayer actually still works. It is a metal sprayer. The bottle has a raised diamond pattern in the glass. It is almost full. The label is a little rough. There is a can of Zud. It removes rust & stains. It is about 1/4 full. A small bottle of Airosol brand, Insect repellent. Type II, 3/4 full. A bar of Ivory soap, 1970’s in paper label, Medium size unused, full paper label. And a tiny Tirro mending tape tin can with a lid. It is marked at the bottom Bauer & Black. It is in excellent condition and empty. There is also a pair of old wooden clothes pins.
