A truly fantastic Bear Bank. This piece has a fur/flocked coat and is black with a bit of gray around the muzzle. He is a fantastic piece and in great condition. He has the original stopper. My father was in the Air Force and I remember coming through Alaska, back from Japan when I was about 5 years old. There were all kinds of Black Bear souvenirs in the airport. This really takes me back to my childhood. Each of us 3 sisters came home with a bear on a leash. This was back in the 1960’s. This piece is great memorabilia for me. It is large. 6" long, 3 1/2" wide across the back end and 3 1/2" tall. He has glass eyes, white around the outsides with black centers. He still has the original stopper in the bottom. A very neat piece. A great figurine, it isn’t easy to tell that he is a bank.
