Description
A beautiful Dresden Ireland figurine. This piece is very detailed and ornate. It is called Gina. She is sitting and has a very full skirt. This piece is dated 1978. It is marked MZ as is the Dresden from Germany, but made after WWII. These vintage pieces date to 1945-today. They are still being made in Ireland, since the factory was destroyed in Germany during the war. The crinoline lace is made by infusing cotton into the porcelain and creating a lace of porcelain. This particular piece is in Excellent condition with a spec of damage to the back lace as can be seen in the last picture. She is 5 1/2" tall and completely hand painted. She is 5" across. There are tiny flowers added to the top of her dress. All intact. A very nice vintage piece.
