From my personal collection, I have decided to downsize the time it takes me to dust each week. I am also afraid that all of my favorite things will end up on the quarter table. lol… This is one of the prettiest sets that I own and have seen in a long time. This set is made by Melba in England. It has the prettiest coloring with bright and vivid colors. bright orange, blue, yellow, brown with black leaves. These pieces are trimmed out in gold and the saucer is square with slightly rounded corners. The snack or luncheon plate has a handle of sorts on each side, that has gold scrolls. All pieces are trimmed out in gold. The shape and coloring on these pieces are just fantastic. The snack or luncheon plate is slightly raised at the edges a bit like a shallow bowl. The luncheon plate is 9 3/4" across and 8 1/4" wide. The saucer is 5 1/4" across. The bread plate is 6 1/2" across. The luncheon plate is 10" x 8 1/2" across. The cup is 3" across the top and 2 7/8" tall. A very pretty set. Please note, I have 2 of these. This cup holds 6 oz.Great for a wedding gift or a bridal shower, perfect for collecting or display. None of the items in this shop have any damage of any kind. All of the pieces listed are all suitable for coffee or tea.
