This is a fantastic wood and glass hand made display case. The shape is great and I can see it with cake plates filled with cupcakes or pastries….the felt is simply sitting inside as it has previously been used as a jewelry case. It is taller in the back than the front and the back door opens from the bottom, with a chain latch to hold the lid open. There is a hasp on each side for locks, if desired. The corners are trimmed out with brass. It is in great condition and nicely detailed. It is 7" tall at the front and 15" tall at the back. It is 37" across and 23" front to back. It is very solid and all of the screws are brass as well. Because of the amount of glass on this piece, I will ship it through a freight company not through the mail. I use a company called cross-country transport. Shipping make take a little longer. If the buyer wants it shipped through Fedex, I can only estimate the shipping. The shipping cost on this item is an estimate and not exact.
