This is a fantastic hospital robe. Designed in the 40’s and 50’s to wear over your hospital gown, when having a baby. You would get lots of visitors and this was a little dressier than the hospital white gowns. It is short, to the waist for sanity reasons. This piece is quilted satin. This piece is 15" across the shoulders. It is 16" across the shoulders, and 17" long. from the shoulders to the bottom of the sleeves it is 17" long. It has lace around the neck and on each side of the front and it has a tie front. A very neat old piece. I am sure this is what June Cleaver would have worn when she had Wally and the Beave. lol..
