Description
This is a fantastic hospital robe. Designed in the 40’s and 50’s to wear over your hospital gown, when having a baby. You would get lots of visitors and this was a little dressier than the hospital white gowns. It is short, to the waist for sanity reasons. This piece is quilted satin. This piece is 15" across the shoulders. It is 20" long and 22" across, under the arms. It is marked on the tag Ava Lee. It is marked 201 as the style number and One size. A very unique and rare find. It is in very good condition with no damage of any kind and is a light baby blue with white lace around the collar and sleeves. The sleeves are 18" long from the shoulders and 9" long from under the arms. A very neat old piece. I am sure this is what June Cleaver would have worn when she had Wally and the Beave. lol.. I try to describe items as accurately as possible. I prefer not to take returns. If I have made a mistake in a listing, I will make it right with the buyer.
