Description
This is an absolutely stunning large platter. It is extremely detailed with hand painted roses around the rim on a burgundy background. It has a transfer pattern in the center of a courting couple. The back is marked only with the number 13. This was purchased from an auction of antiques from France. I do not know the maker. It has a double opening in the back rim for hanging. It is in excellent condition with no damage of any kind. It is 12" across and all trimmed around the edges with a delicate gold scroll and fleur de lis pattern.
