This is a beautiful fully lined authentic Kimono from Japan. It has a red Obi and a cotton under shirt. It is a Navy Blue raw silk. It is a heavy fabric and absolutely stunning. This is not my specialty so I looked some things up on the web. The "Sash" for around the middle -Obi is 5 3/4" wide. It has a pillow (red), that I couldn’t find the correct name for- this piece show a bit of age spots. This set also comes with some shoe/socks that are connected in the back with small metal tabs. They are 8 1/4" long. It also comes with a cotton under shirt -Hadajuban, which is to prevent soiling of the Kimono itself. The Kimono is 23 1/2" across the shoulders at the back. The sleeves are 18" long and 12" wide. The length from the base of the collar to the bottom of the Kimono is 35". There are age spots There are age spots on this piece and it would need to be dry cleaned. There are elastic pieces at the center for attaching, but I am uncertain how they work.
