From and Victorian home Estate sale in Chicago, this is a stunning little set. For the vanity or dresser, this is an early Limoges, hand painted pair of dishes. One is a hair receiver with a hole in the center of the top. The other piece is either a trinket dish or a soap dish. It has no lid. The pieces are the same size and color. The hair receiver is painted on the top with white daisies and yellow centers. These pieces are 4 1/4" across. The open dish is 1 1/2" tall and the receiver is 2 3/4" tall including the lid. It is a very beautiful set. It is marked inside the lid with R.O. Briggs, Austin, Ill. I try to describe items as accurately as possible.
