This is a gorgeous fully beaded Victorian purse, made in France. It is marked on the metal rim France and a tag inside that says Made in France. It is in very nice condition with no damage. There is fringe on the bottom that is all made of beads. It has gold tone trim and a gold tone handle that is chain. It has a button that is pushed down on the top to open the bag. There was probably some kind of fob on the front side that is missing? It has a tiny little loop with nothing running through it. It is easy to open however. It has a gross grain fabric inside that is in very nice clean condition. The pocket needs a little stitching however. It is off at one side. Because this is such a delicate piece, I don’t want to mess with it myself. I would not want to do any damage to this fragile antique purse. It is 10 1/2" long from the top to the bottom of the fringe. It is 6" across. It is a flat bag at less than 1/2" wide. The handle can be doubled with a 5" drop or single with a 9" drop. A really beautiful beaded bag, done in silver and gold.
