Description
This is very neat Victorian era women’s deodorant jar. It is a really nice piece due to the lacquer box that it is in. I have seen many of these over the years and this is the first that I have found inside of a wooden box. It is quite unique and has some gold work on the top. Flowers with a couple of leaves. It is 2 1/2" across the top and 2 1/4" tall. There is a crack in the side of the box, this can be seen in the pictures.
