Description
This is a beautiful and hard to find large water pitcher. This piece would have been used with a basin at a dry sink. It is very large, very old and has no chips, cracks or damage of any kind. The piece was made in England, 1840’s-50’s. The name of the pattern is Bamboo. The material is ironstone. It is 13 1/2" tall and 11" from the spout to the handle. The handle also has a brown transferware pattern. This is a very rare find. This is a statement piece. It has beautiful deailed flowers with scrolls and birds. It has bamboo with bamboo flowers as well. Los of great detail. It has a dark brown rim around the inside and outside of the opening with a lattice type pattern. This is Just wonderful.
