Vintage POOLE Silver LANCASTER ROSE Silverplate Tea SET Tray Pot Cream Sugar. Tea Pot, Creamer, Sugar & Lid & Waiter Tray. GORGEOUS Estate find. Beautiful, in Very Good condition! Set has Light tarnishing, was well cared for. Very Good condition. No dents, dings or scratches. It was stored for years in cellophane, the pretty much fell apart when I opened it up. It is a Stunning Set. Heavy Large waiter rectangular tray that is 20.5" wide and 30.5" long and is footed with ornate detailed feet. The Coffee pot is 11.5" tall and 11" from the spout to the handle. The Tea Pot is 10.5" tall and 10.5" from the spout to the handle. The Creamer is 5" tall and 6" from the spout to the handle. The Sugar with lid is, 8" tall and 8" across. All marked EPCA LANCASTER ROSE by POOLE 400. There are no scratches including the center of the tray. I don’t know that this set was ever used. It has beautiful detail. The tray weighs 13+ lbs. The total weight of the set is 22 lbs. A real nice set. Very clean inside and out. I have only polished the Sugar Bowl as can be seen in the pictures. Perfect for Entertaining. I have not cleaned it all, it is lightly tarnished. They say, "Poole" E.P.C.A., 400, Lancaster Rose. If you have ever researched these, this is a great price. At Replacements.com for a 7 piece set, they are asking over a $1000 & for a 5 piece set, without the tray, they are asking $559.95.
Poole is made in England. It is a fine quality halloware.
